Fable Legends Canceled

In a press statement this week Microsoft announced that is has cancelled the latest Fable game ‘Fable Legends’ and has announced plans to close Lionhead. Founded in 1996 by Peter Molyneux and bought by Microsoft in 2006, the game studio has produced such iconic game franchises as Fable, Black & White, and The Movies. However, in recent years the studio has struggled with overhyped products and poor game sales.

Fable Legends premiered during the Microsoft E3 press event. The video shows off the games many environments. It will be a story based world with over two dozen creatures to fight. There is already planned post launch add-on content that will add new creatures and heroes.
