Get your first look at the upcoming ABC program The Muppets. The video they’re showing is actually a proof of concept that Jim Henson Studios put together to give the executives an idea what the new program would be like. They showed it at San Diego Comic Con this year and have released it for your viewing pleasure.
To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about watching the Muppet Show panel at Comic Con. I mean they’re for kids, right? Wrong. Well, I mean kids can still watch but one thing the panel showed was that the new Muppet Show that begins in September will not be a Sesame Street show. Rather it will follow along the same lines of the original Muppet show that dealt with grown up themes like love, loss, working problems, and the desire to find something to be passionate about. The panel is very funny and I encourage you all to watch.
