In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

Finding Dory

The second trailer for Finding Dory just touches us in our special place. The friendly-but-forgetful blue Dory is trying to find her long lost family in this sequel to Finding Nemo. We get to see old characters and new characters help Dory. June 17th this movie will be swimming its way into your heart.

The BFG

A Big Friendly Giant brings Sophie, a 10 year old girl, to Dream Country where he collects dreams and sends them to children, teaching her all about the magic and mystery of dreams. Having both been on their own in the world up until now, their affection for one another quickly grows, but Sophie’s presence in Giant Country has attracted the unwanted attention of the other giants, who have become increasingly more bothersome.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

The trailer is the briefest glimpse into the American magical society of the 1920’s. From the fiction released on the Pottermore site we’re sure to see issues of magical segregation and secrecy in the film.

The BFG

Finally, a full trailer has been released for The BFG. It was worth the wait. The mostly CG film has tons of heart and has me wanting to be swept away by a kind giant.

Synopsis: A girl named Sophie encounters the Big Friendly Giant who, despite his intimidating appearance, turns out to be a kindhearted soul who is considered an outcast by the other giants because unlike his peers refuses to eat boys and girls.

In theaters July 1st.

Alice Through the Looking Glass

Alice returns to the whimsical world of Underland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter. The psychedelic trailer shows off some new CGI scenes and some of the early story where Alice is in a mental institute.  

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

When a teen visits a magical place known as Miss Peregrine's School for Peculiar Children, he learns that his new friends have special powers and powerful enemies. Directed by Tim Burton.

Kubo and the Two Strings

The second trailer for this animated film shows a bit more of the story of Kubo, the monsters he faces, and the powers he uses. In theaters Aug. 19th, 2016.

Based on the hit kids novel by James Patterson. The story follows Rafe Khatchadorian as he begins middle school and “copes with the awkwardness of adolescence: crushes, bullying, and family issues as he attempts to break every school rule and collect the most points any student's ever been given.
