We begin with…

Disney’s Maker Studios has dropped YouTube celebrity Felix Kjellberg, known as PewDiePie because of videos with anti-semitic content. The Wall Street Journal found nine videos posted since August with anti-semitic messages or Nazi imagery. Kjellberg said the content was meant to be joking, and that he was not "supporting any kind of hateful attitudes", admitting the videos in question were "ultimately offensive". YouTube also canceled the second season of YouTube Red series “Scare PewDiePie and removed Kjellberg from the Google Preferred advertising program. https://www.engadget.com/2017/02/14/maker-studios-parts-ways-with-pewdiepie-after-anti-semitic-jokes/

The Nintendo Switch doesn’t come out for another couple of weeks, but one person has already managed to get his hands on it ahead of time. Neogaf user ‘hiphoptherobot’ received his Nintendo Switch prior to the release date after the retailer he ordered it from accidentally shipped it to him two weeks early. After posting the photos to Neogaf, the YouTube channel FloKO asked him to make an unboxing video to show off the Nintendo Switch.

After the unboxing video went viral Nintendo released a statement that this console was actually part of a shipment that was stolen from a warehouse in the U.S.

The guy who made the unboxing video told Kotaku that he returned the stolen console to Nintendo after they contacted him.

This Week Pokemon Go added more than 80 new Johto Pokemon from the 1990s Pokemon Gold and Silver games. They will all be discoverable in the wild. Twenty years after it showed on our movie screens,  the universe of Todd McFarlane's Spawn will get a new lease on life - this time through BBC America. The tortured soul from hell, though, will not be front and center this time. The heroes of this show are the titular Sam and Twitch, two very human, but tough NYPD cops who tangle with the worst side of the supernatural. Blame that on their run-ins with Spawn. Kevin Smith has been tasked to write, direct, and produce.

A new rumor, from what has previously been a reliable source, indicates that Marvel may finally be moving forward with a live-action adaptation of one of their oldest properties: Namor, the Sub-Mariner.

The rumor comes from the Reel News Hawaii Twitter feed, which was the source of the news that Marvel Television would film The Inhumans on a newly purchased Naval base in Kalaeloa, Hawaii. According to the feed, Marvel may also be looking to use the location, which he is referring to as Marvel Studios Oahu, for an as yet unannounced “Submariner” film:

If you’ve ever wondered what happened to Jar Jar Binks after Star Wars Episode 3, the final Star Wars novel in the Aftermath trilogy by Chuck Wendig, ‘Empire’s End’, reveals Jar Jar’s fate.

Set in the years after Return of the Jedi, the Aftermath trilogy has shown the state of the New Republic and the Empire in its main arc and in interludes that take place throughout the galaxy. One of the interludes in Empire’s End goes to Naboo.

On the streets of Naboo, a kid encounters a clown. That clown identifies himself as Jar Jar: “Meesa Jar Jar,” he tells an orphan. He talks about not being wanted either and references that “Jar Jar makin some uh-oh mistakens.”

Remember that it was Jar Jar, as a member of the senate, that gave Senator Palpatine the emergency war powers that lead to him becoming the Emperor. Mistakes were made, indeed.
